[20/01/2011] IUCLID users are invited to a consultation phase (survey and forum)
All IUCLID users are invited to participate in a consultation phase on IUCLID. This consultation is composed of two parts: a survey on IUCLID 5 and a forum to collect all user requirements for IUCLID.
After a few years of experience of using IUCLID 5 as a tool for collecting, storing and exchanging information on chemicals, it is time to plan for the next generation of the IUCLID software so as to better fit the evolving needs of a growing user community. Example developments could be extension of IUCLID to specific information relevant for biocides or pesticides or information on exposure and risks related to uses of substances, or development of several user interfaces adapted for a specific purpose connected to the same core database.
We would like to invite all the IUCLID users to participate in a public consultation for the next generation of the IUCLID software.
The consultation has two parts:
- A survey on IUCLID 5. Please respond to the survey from 18 January to 18 February 2011.
- A IUCLID user requirement forum using the OECD Clearspace tool. Please submit your proposals/requirements/ideas on the Forum before 7 March 2011. When you go to the forum you will be asked to register for free to participate in the discussions.
The objective of this public consultation, organised by the OECD and the European Chemicals Agency, is to receive input and exchange ideas on the next generation of the IUCLID software from all the IUCLID users.
